This movie was the winner in an international competition held by Media 100 in order to find exciting new productions in PAL format put together using the Media 100 editing system. It was created by Jacki Parry of Twist Intermedia in New Zealand, who says she was just “playing around” with the system!
The elements and effects used were mostly originated in Photoshop and other software; Jacki then used Media 100 to edit them together, synchronise sound and video, and add certain transitions and effects.
This exclusive version of Jacki’s movie has been saved out in QuickTime format at a greatly reduced resolution and frame rate, and it’s intended for display on your Mac screen only. For this reason it can’t really give you a fair indication of the broadcast quality of the Media 100 original version, and playback quality and synchronisation might, unfortunately, be affected by the capacity of your own Mac system.
